My Story

As part of the healing process, my doctor told me to get rid of the toxic cleaning products in my house.  And as I've tried to transition to products - skin, hair, body, and cleaning that do not include my allergies, I had to find alternate options.  This is where Young Living started for me.

 

Why Young Living?

Did you know that not all essential oils are created equal?  The following questions are crucial to ask when choosing an essential oil company:

  • Who owns the land?
  • How are the workers treated?
  • Is the process organic?
  • How is the land farmed?  Does it deplete the soil of its nutrients or is it managed in a sustainable fashion?
  • Is the product as pure as it says it is (this is a common issue with vitamins/supplements)?
  • What process is used to turn the plant into an essential oil?

Products

I've been using the vitality oils more and more for cooking, but that's not our majority use.  

  • We LOVE the Thieves line and use it for household cleaning, hand sanitizer, dishes, and laundry.  I can't rave enough about this product line.  
  • I also have found good luck with switching to the aromabright toothpaste - even with super sensitive teeth.  
  • We like to diffuse Purification, RC, and Thieves for creating cleaner air and promoting healthy breathing.
  • Our other favorites are for sore muscles, headaches, and congestion.  We use Cool Azul all the time for tight muscles as well as the Deep Relief roll-on.  We manage congestion with Peppermint and the Breath Right roll-on.  And finally, we use M-Grain, Stress Away, Peppermint, and the Deep Relief roll-on for headaches or other body aches.
